Sorry to say that I lost the sticky note with the information about this card and I was too lazy to go searching to find out who made the stamp at the centre of the card.  This photo doesn't do this card justice.  It is really pretty in person.

*Silver Winter Wishes*

For something a little different, I used the other side of that Stampin' Up! patterned paper to show off that wonderful silver and white snowflake paper.  This card, to me, is simple but stunning.

*The Best Way To Spread Christmas Cheer*

I absolutely love this stamp set from Stampin' Up!  The three sayings in it are a good size to be the focal point of a card and they are different from the usual "peace on earth" and "winter wonderland" stamps that are out there.

I had a vision for this card... and while it turned out OK, I don't think it was quite in keeping with my vision.  I don't know that I can describe what I was trying to achieve, I just know that it's not quite what I wanted.  Not to mention it's a whole lot of "busy" for my clean and simple tastes.

I used the small fingertip sponge daubers to ink up each of the pinwheels so that I was able to get the colour where I wanted it.  I cleaned off the stencil when I was done and then carefully put it back in place so I could cover it with the Nuvo Glimmer Paste.  I didn't quite get it exact so up close, it's not quite right.

*The Same, But Different*

Are you seeing things?  Nope... this is a very similar card to the one I posted yesterday.  The circle element, when put together, creates two circles so I might as well use them both.  I got this idea from a card I saw by Laura Bassen... it's really fun!

*Happy Birthday To Me!*

Well, it happened... the day has arrived...  I have entered a new decade... I am 50.  I was seriously thinking I wasn't going to have a birthday this year so that I wouldn't have to turn 50, but July 25th is here and I couldn't avoid adding a year to my age.  Being 50 doesn't bother me...  it's more that I can't figure out how in the hell *I* am 50!!  I don't feel old enough or grown up enough to be 50!

So here's a card to toast the occasion of my 50th birthday...  let the celebrations begin!

I love a good rainbow... in the sky or on a card!  Although I feel I do a rainbow theme far too often.  I hope you aren't sick of them!

*Rainbow!!*

I hope you've been having fun playing along with the creative prompts with Scrap 'n Stamp Canada.  Todays prompt is "rainbow"... and everyone know I LOVE a good rainbow!  There's just a few more days left in June for you to play along!  Post your cards on the Scrap 'n Stamp Facebook Page or on Instagram with the hashtag #snschallenge and you will be entered in to a draw to receive a $50 gift card!  You can post as often as you want!

I had some fun playing with some square dies and a rainbow of colour.....

I cut each of the nesting squares using my Gemini Jr (although you could achieve a similar effect just cutting squares with your paper cutter).  I then used a craft knife, ruler and self healing cutting mat to cut each of the squares in half on a diagonal as my original idea for this card was to have just one side with the rainbow.  I then adhered the red square to my card front, making it as close to centred on the side as I could.  I then added each additional square in rainbow order.  I used glue for this project so that I could have a little wiggle time to try to get the pieces evenly placed.  It was when this part was done I decided to replicate the rainbow on the other side of the card.

To finish it off, I stamped this great greeting from Picket Fence Studios in Versafine Clair Nocturne ink, cut it in to a square and adhered it on top of the rainbows.
